Who is Cattery Kathorse ?

Cattery Kathorse is a FIFE family Cornish Rex cattery in Wetteren, East Flanders, in Belgium. Our Belgian cattery approval number is HK20407325.
We are officially recognized by the Flemish Government, Animal Welfare Flanders. Our own breeding program has been following stricter rules for years than the breedering legislation that will come into effect in Flanders from 01/01/2025. All our kittens will therefore still obtain 100% recognized FIFE pedigrees with parentage verification through DNA.

We have completed the Cat Breeder training (Educats) with a result of 97% and we are Pawpeds G1 Course Graduates.

We breed about three litters of beautiful Cornish Rex kittens every year.

Our kittens grow up in the living room and prefer to find a golden home with enthusiasts.
We are members of Felis Belgica (FIFE) and are regularly present at international shows, but we prefer to enjoy our Rexes at home.

All our of cats are tested annually for HCM (via ultrasound) and receive a one-time ultrasound of the kidneys (PKD).
Our queens and studs are all DNA-tested via Neogen (including PRA, CEP, PKD, PKDef …). All of the kittens we sell rerceive DNA profiling and parentage verification via Combibreed (Zoolyx).
